Gippsland MTB has secured $5000 of State Government funding to skill up our members in Remote Area First Aid and the new MTBA Mountain Bike Coaching Accreditation levels 0 and 1.
The GMTB committee are after interested club members to undertake these courses so we can provide quality remote area first aid at all of our events and to gain accredited coaches so we can start to pass on our mountain biking skills to other riders and the community. Does this sound like YOU?
Ideally we are after members that consistently turn up to events and are interested in coaching others to MTBA standards and providing first aid duties at our events (carrying a first aid kit and rendering assistance where necessary).
We currently have openings for 5 remote area first aid training and at least 20 openings for the MTBA Level 0 and 1 Coaching courses.
If this sounds like something that you would like to achieve at GMTB, please express you interest by expressing your interest by sending a reply to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
The committee will review all expressions of interest and will finalise course participants in due time.
